  • Bernal Heights Library Meeting Room in Bernal Heights 500 Cortland Avenue San Francisco USA (map)

Bay Area Book Lovers!

Has it been a long time since you read a scary story? Would you like to find a good one for Halloween?

You’re in luck! I’m here to remind you that you used to love horror stories…and you secretly still do!

On Wednesday, October 30th, I will be appearing at the San Francisco Public Library Bernal Heights Branch   (NOTE: to get the Sf library tag, use @SFPLBernalHeights  )to read from my book, SCREAMING FOR PLEASURE: HOW HORROR MAKES YOU HAPPY AND HEALTHY!

I’ll be discussing the proud tradition of the horror story and how it can speak to our collective ills through allegory and metaphor, and how there are different horror styles for different tastes!

There will be a Q&A and book signing after the reading, and I’ll give book suggestions and there will be swag!

Date: Wednesday, October 30th 2019

Time: 7:30-9:00 PM

Location: Bernal Heights Library Meeting Room in Bernal Heights

500 Cortland Avenue, San Francisco!

I hope to see you there and remember to STAY HELLBENT!
